iPod Linux

Oh dear I finally managed to load iPod Linux (a hack to change the iPod's firmware) onto my 5th generation iPod. It's very sweet as I can play any Game Boy, NES, or SNES game I desire all on my iPod via emulation. Best of all, it can play Doom! All the controls are a tad bit sluggish, but it makes up for it in all the themes you can apply to the main Linux graphical user interface.

Apple Event on August 7th?

Wow, the rumors are true about the new iMacs in August as Apple has called in a special event taking place in the Cupertino town hall. Mac World has confirmed it so it's going to happen. I expect new a new iLife and iWork along with the new iMacs possibly with a multi-touch gesture based mouse. I'll tell you what I think when the time comes.
