Having tried Linux, Windows, and OS X, I can tell you that Mac OS X is the best way to go. Hands down. I love my shimmering iMac with the comfortable aluminum keyboard and wireless mouse. Nuts to, linux and windows. Linux especially because their users think they are so better than Mac users. It's not simply not true.

I think Linux has windows beat in ease of use, but installing the bugger is what's difficult. It's a crapshoot whether your hardware is compatible. Other than that and the fact it has very little software, Linux is a very budget friendly OS that will run on pretty much any hardware.
As you know, nothing is wrong with Linux. It's just not for me thou. It's only best with servers. That's where Linux shines it's brightest. With Macs and Windows they were both designed for the end-user. it's not suppose to be technical like Linux machines.
